"Frontlines: Fuel of War" Leaves PS3 With an Empty Tank

Well, after rumours all over the place about it being delayed or cancelled and retailers apparently being told of its cancellation on 17th January, its finally been officially confirmed. Frontlines: Fuel of War has been cancelled for the PS3. It will still be coming out on the Xbox 360 and PC in February.
What a shame as it looked like it could have been something quite special, although perhaps not completely original. Its not alone though as THQ seem to be restructuring and adjusting their gaming focus. THQ also announced the PS2 version cancellation of the newest Destroy All Humans game, subtitled 'Big Willy Unleashed' (surely a contender for a 'most worrying game title' award!).
The disappointing sales of Stuntman: Ignition and Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights have meant there won't be any more games in those series. They were also disappointed with the sales of Conan (which I thought was very good) and Ratatouille although it seems they are still releasing another Disney/Pixar licensed game WALL-E in the summer. A financial update to investors at the end of 2007 said they expected revenues for that quarter to increase from $490 million to $509 million. This is partly being put down to better than expected sales of WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008 and MX vs ATV: Untamed.
